Purchase...for production??

Hi:

I have a simple question, as follows. Please help to proofread. Thanks very much!

Sentence requires proofreading:

I rebought S-751 for production and will ship the products on August 20.

(S-751 is a kind of raw material, in which the previous batch was defective)

Two points I want to make sure:

1. the word "rebought" is correct? ---I think "I rebought S-751" is better than "I bought S-751 again "

2.buy S-751 for production--I think it is equivalent to "buy S-751 to produce". But is it better than the latter one in the above context.

Thanks again!
