PUPPY LOVE

Dear Taechers,

1. That's what friends and family are for.

- Is this an expression? and what does it mean?

2. "puppy love" just happens from the age of 7 to 15, right?

3. He was so tired that he left in the middle of the interview.

4. Although he couldn't pass the interview, but he didn't feel blue and regret at all.

- Are 3 & 4 natural?

IMO, your lines are way too long.
