Punctuation with WHICH

What are the rules in punctuation using the relative pronoun which?

I like the bag, which is currently on display.
He wants to cook the food which has lots of spices.

Which one is correct?

It makes more sense to remove the comma from the first sentence. The clause seems to be restrictive (defining). You can make it clearer by using the relative pronoun that : I like the bag that is currently on display.
