Punctuation with titles in quotes?

I am writing an essay and have to reference the title of the chapter "The Fellow of No Delicacy"
I know I should put the title in quotes, but how do I punctuate?
For example:
Carton is "The Fellow of No Delicacy."
The title, "The Fellow of No Delicacy," means he's not a delicate fellow blah blah.
Is that correct? Or does the punctuation go outside the quotes because there is no punction in the title?
Thank you!

Anonymous Or does the punctuation go outside the quotes because there is no punction in the title? British English tends to follow this logic, but not so much in American English. Both are correct.
