Punctuation in quoting Scripture
Dear all,
In one of my writings, I quote the following scripture:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
How do I put this in a senctence? For example:
We know that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.'" (2 Tim. 3:16).
What about punctuation in this sentence? Are the inverted commas on the right spot? Should there be a period after works? Should all get a capital A?
