Punctuation in directions

Hello,

Could you please tell me if I need commas in a terse and compact description of my itinerary?

- Itinerary: from X square along Y street around the park into the Palace complex through the first-floor rooms and out onto the terrace.
or
- Itinerary: from X square, along Y street, around the park, etc.

Thank you
H.

Commas make it easier to read. I'd suggest the words 'route'. 'Itinerary' suggest to me a more extensive and longer trip.
