Punctuation - Family

Hello,
I have some questions on punctuating sentences that have the names of family members included in them. Please help me with the sentences below--punctuation-wise, that is--and also provide me with references if available; I would like to have a look at some websites that would clearly be of benefit to me, in terms of punctuating sentences that contain family members' names.
1) That's my brother Jake.
2) Jane, you look like your mother Karen.

Thanks,
Richard

Put the comma after "mother" -- there is only one mother (presumably) so her name is additional information, set off by commas.

If there
