Is this paragraph punctuated correctly? I'm not sure about the colon in the last sentence. I'm aware that the newspaper title should be in italics, but the website it's for has no option for italicisation.
I began to write for The Strathclyde Telegraph in my third year of university, and wrote at least one article each month of the academic year until I finished my degree. This sparked my interest in journalism, and gave me the opportunity to regularly see my work in print. It also gave me practical experience which helped in my completion of journalism modules in the second half of my degree: Journalism and Popular Culture in third year, and Ethical Issues in Journalism in fourth year.
