[punctuation] a semi-colon or a comma?

Dear All.

In the following sentence, should we use a semi-colon or a comma in the section that I have in the brackets?

It seems like we we're craving for choices ( , ) the right to decide how our own lives should be like.

I also feel that it seems like should be replaced with it seems that.

Thank you.

It seems like we we're craving for choices ( , ) the right to decide what our own lives should be like. You need a comma, because what follows the comma is not an independent clause. I also feel that it seems like should be replaced with it seems that.
