Can anyone help me with the usage of proper punctuation in my sentnce?

The report wasn't clear, and incomprehensible.

The report easnt clear. And inconprehensible.

Top answer

If something is incomprehensible, it is obviously also unclear, so there is no point in saying both. A further difficulty is that we normally speak in terms of unclear/ incomprehensible , or in terms of not clear / not comprehensible . eg The report was unclear and incomprehensible.

  • eg The report was unclear and incomprehensible.
  • eg The report was not clear and not comprehensible.
  • If you start mixing these two sets of terms together as you have, it becomes very confusing no matter how you write it.
