Hello, I was just wondering, is the punctuation of this parenthesis okay?

(after all, I was noting this down as it happened, as I have mentioned, I was in need of inspiration, and snowstorms don’t happen every day)

No. Is this supposed to be an entire sentence as an aside? Two sentences? Does it stand alone?

Technically it is justifiable. However, I find it rather awkward to read. I read it initially as a comma splice and then have to readjust.
