Hi, I was just wondering if someone could read this short paragraph and sentence and tell me if they are punctuated correctly, it's for an assignment due in later today.
Thanks in advance! Emma
Miloš Forman’s adaptation of Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a disturbing, often humorous, and thought provoking film. The casting of Jack Nicholson as the rebellious Randal McMurphy, and Louise Fletcher as the formidable nurse Ratchet is fantastic, as their performances are mesmerising, and bring the story to life in a way that emphasises a number of key themes in the novel – including the loss of what makes the individual human, and individuality as a form of rebellion. Therefore, if you are looking for a film which is not only thought provoking, but simultaneously humorous and disturbing, then One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is for you.
This leads to the central conflict of the film when Randal undermines her authority on the ward, and shows the other men that a better life exists outside of their clinical routine as seen when he takes them fishing and brings alcohol into the hospital (with humorous results) – which are two of the most uplifting scenes in the film.
