Is the punctuation right in the following sentence? is "stepwise introduction of variables on a prediction model building" an independent clause?
The first objective can be achieved by fixing a threshold on the variable importance while the second one requires a combination of variable ranking, and stepwise introduction of variables on a prediction model building.
