Punctuation

Hi. I give 2 examples in my essay but i do not know if the punctuation is correct.

1) .......his erratic thoughts and intense agitation. For example, “Almighty God! - no, no! They heard! - they suspected! - they knew! - they were making a mockery of my horror! - this I thought, and this I think”.

2)The following is an extract of a conversation between Mrs.Sappleton and Mr Framton. “…….. been amusing you?” she said. “She has been very interesting,” said Framton. “
