I am standing on the side of the corner. Again please tell me the error in the sentence. I know the basic usage of On- for a surface or for street, At- for specific location and In-for a space but while using it I get confused. How to improve?

Do corners have sides? I don't think we usually conceptualize corners as having sides. Maybe you mean "beside", but that's not idiomatic either. Try this:

I am standing near the corner.

Hi CJ,
Just my nosy two cents. But I think I can see what the OP meant. I

dimsumexpressI supposed that was what the OP was trying to depict by "on the side of the corner" even though it wasn't exactly idiomatic.
You could very well be right about that!
