Punctuation

Hello,

I have two punctuation questions. The first involves coordinate adjectives and punctuation. Specficially, shouldn't there be a comma between the adjectives "severe" and "adverse" in the following sentence?:

The procedure can potentially cause severe adverse effects and must be carefully administered.
