Punctuating possessives
I need to list several Presidents in a sentence and I am confused about how to punctuate the sentence!
The sentence is:
Citing examples from Roosevelt's, Truman's, and Kennedy's administrations Gibbs compares previous struggles to Obama's current plight.
Is the punctuation correct? Should I have a comma after administrations?

I wouldn't like to be too definite about this, but my view is that although a comma is not strictly necessary, it would improve the readability of the sentence.

It looks okay to me. Another, possibly better, way to state this is:
Citing examples from the Roosevelt, Truman, and Kennedy administrations Gibbs compares previous struggles to Obama's current plight.
