Pulls you in and plumps you out in all right places

Hello everybody.

It may seem funny to you, but I can't be sure to understand the story. Would you please help me and paraphrase it for me?

Next I shimmy into the body-con dress. At first I think it’s too tight, but Anita has warned me it has a sort of inbuilt scaffolding, and once I get to grips with it and give it a firm tug here and there, it soon slips into place. ‘Pulls you in and plumps you out in all the right places,’she explains.

Thanks so much.
