Pulled/lifted/?

Jenna, who is in a wheelchair, has fallen outside her house. She doesn't fall out of the wheelchair, the wheelchair falls with her in it.

The sentence:

Jenna pulled/lifted herself and her wheelchair upright, and rode it up to her house.

What would be the best verb to use in the sentence?
