Pull up the blanket

Hi,
if I'm lying on my bed, and there's a blanket at the end of the bed, near my feet... and I want to put it over myself, pull it over myself... what can I say, idiomatically?

I'll pull up the blanket?

Is "pull up" what I'm looking for? Thanks Emotion: smile

I see, thanks.
We say the same in Italian, but I wasn't sure about English, because, after all, you are not pulling it UP, since you pull it horizontally...

But you are also pulling it up the body/bed - from the foot to the head.

Yes, that's probably the reason. Emotion: smile

By the way, in the U.S., you can all refer to the sheet, blanket, etc. as "the covers."

It's nice when it gets cool in the fall and you really feel like you need your covers again.

"To pull the blanket to myself" could also be right
