Puff.

Hi, I have written some sentences below using the word "puff". Please say, Is it correct to speak?

(a)Whenever I run up to the hill, I puff hard.

(b)Yesterday I ran two kilometers without stop anywhere. And then I stopped my running near a hotel and puffed for few seconds.

(c)Why do you puff? Did you run?
