Psych verbs

Hello again

Does anyone know what a psych verb is?

I am not sure it is an abbreviation of 'psychological verb', and even if it is, I don't know what it means.

Thank you.

A psych verb is a verb of psychological state. Typically these take two arguments -- the experiencer and the stimulus. Some examples are: amuse, agitate, baffle, charm, cheer, depress, encourage, frighten, hurt, offend, perplex, sadden, shock, sicken, tire, upset, worry.
