prsent continuous or future

Next Sunday I'm visiting/going to visit my grandparents in Cardiff.
In which tense do I have to put it and why?
Sometimes it's very difficult to decide, so please give explanation if possible. Thanks

In which tense do I have to put it and why? Both are fine. The first form is more confident about the occurrence of that future event.
