I think I know where that sentence (not a proverb) comes from.

I understood the same way. People need to hear their inner voice ( for me a Pentecostal) the voice of the Holy Ghost. He did not use names in the bible, but I can swear that his speech has everything to do with the Holy Bible,
except the even the fact that Christians do not want to die to go to
heaven. Christians need to stay and achieve whatever the Holy Ghost asks them to do. Again, the
