Prove-related question

do these sentences have similiar meanings even if written one way or the other, if not is there any difference in meaning?

1.)I will prove him wrong to everyone

2)I will prove that he is wrong to everyone

follow-up question: is there some sort of a lurking word between HIM and Wrong in the first e.g, in this case 'to be'
