Prove

i dont know wat happened to the post with the same question as what am bout to ask....anyhow.. could anyone help me with this.

1) Ill prove him to be wrong to everyone

2) ill prove that he is wrong to everyone

do these two have similar meanings? is it right to argue that in the first sentence theres an ommision of to be?

it would be of a great help your answers tnx in advance

  • 1) I'll prove him to be wrong to everyone 2) I'll prove that he is wrong to everyone I prefer 'I'll prove to everyone that he is wrong'.
  • do these two have similar meanings?
