Hi,

A goverment is stable and prosperity because the majority of people are happy.

A goverment is stable and prosperous when/if the majority of (most) citizens are happy.

'citizens' is better than 'its people'. I don't belong to my government. It belongs to me.

The essence of our government is free enterprise
