Hi, I won't repeat all the various dictionary definitions, because I'm sure you have already looked at them. Here are a couple of very, very broad comments on what I think is the underlying feel of the words. prospect - Something you can see, literally or in your future.

I'm sorry but your words made me more confused, can you maybe give examples for both words (in sentences) so it would be made more clarified to me and if possible maybe give another simpler definition of the two words?

First, have you looked in your dictionary?

My outlook (view point) on life is that you should live every day of it as if it is your last.

My prospect (view point) on life is that you should live every day of it as if it is your last.

Hi,

My outlook (view point) on life is that you should live every day of it as if it is your last. Fine.

You are telling me about how you see things, but not really about what you see. The focus is on you.

My prospect (view point) on life is that you should live every day of it as if it is your last.

This does not sound natural. I'd say 'outlook

The follwoing are the definitions of the two words in my own words:

prospect: possibility, an estimated guess, view (literal)

outlook: an estimated guess, point of view/opinion

Are they correct?

Hi,

The follwoing are the definitions of the two words in my own words:

prospect: possibility, an estimated guess, view (literal)

outlook: an estimated guess, point of view/opinion

Are they correct? My broad view is as above. Bit it's a simple summary of a more complex meaning. That's why the dictionary entries are longer.

You crossed out 'estimated guess' from both of them, but take a look here:

outlook: /search/american/?q=an /search/american/?q=idea
