propose

John’s heart was beating so fast and loud like a drum and his stomach was sinking in when he went to see Jane in her clinic. He had been fantasized with Jane for months, having a family together. He thought it was the time to pop up the question. His chubby friends influenced John to get married but he thought he hated the real obligation. Out of his mind today, he wanted to propose with his grandmother’s ring. His mom just gave it to him a few weeks ago. He thought marrying was a good institution. He thought he didn’t want to interest any girls anymore and just focus on his career.

Before he stepped into her clinic, he took a deep breath.

Is the passage correct?

Thank you
