If you are telling someone to recreate a For Sale sign only smaller and the font size of the For is larger than that of the Sale, how do we word the following?
a. Please make the For larger than the Sale proportional to the size difference between the For and Sale in the original?
b. Please make the size difference between the For and the Sale proportional to the For and Sale in the original?
c. Proportional to the original, please make the For larger than the Sale.
Are the above correct? Which is best? What is a better way of wording it?
Thanks

I would probably say something like this: Please make "For" and "Sale" proportional to their respective sizes in the original.

I think most people would just say eg Please just make the sign smaller. eg Please just make the sign and the words a bit smaller. eg Please just shrink the sign and everything on it a bit.
