Proper word

I have an English class today, but something comes up and I cancel and transfer it to another day.
Can I call it a substitution lesson or……?
What would be the proper word?
Thanks in advance

Hi Salam, A 'subsitute lesson' would be more appropriate. Sometimes called a 'make-up lesson'; other schools may have their own phrase, such as a 'replacement lesson'.
