Proper ways to speak on the telephone
Hi all,
I was wondering what is the proper way to start a telephone conversation for the following three situations:
1) Calling a supermarket and asking whether they have stock
"Hi, I would like to check whether you have stock for apples in the supermarket? "
2) Calling a store to ask about a particular product
"Hi, Do you sell ABC facial wash in your store? "
3) Calling a foreign language school
"Hi, I would like to enquire about your Conversational Spanish Class. "
Are these the correct ways to speak? Or is there a better way?
Also, Is this correct to start off a conversation?
" Hi is this XYZ supermarket / BCD store "
