Proper use of the word, "Objective".

On a message board that I frequently browse, a few individuals were discussing the correct usage of the word, "objective".
I was wondering if anyone could give their views towards which person is correctly using the word.
The discussion started by someone replying to a comment that a Chicago Bears fan made and is as follows:

Person #1 says:
"If you didn't live in Illinois, I would almost believe you.
Live by the water by any chance? lol

Heres the facts:

The Bears were able to sustain drives 5 times due to penalties.
The Bears received 152 yards of offense from penalties.
The Bears red zone efficiency was a meager 25%.
2 of those red zone possessions were in a first and goal situation.
0 (zero) - the number of sacks Julius Peppers and the rest of the Bears finished the game with.

Try watching the game again without an objective view.
Green Bay shot themselves in the foot with penalties and threw the game away.
There was no "Bears domination" in ANY shape, way, or form.

The Bears won their game in Week 1 against the Lions in the same fashion as the Packers with penalties for gods sake, and if it wasn't for a bad interpretation of reception rules by the zebras, you wouldn't have even won that.

The only win the Bears "earned" so far was against Dallas."

Person #2 says:
"Actually, the Cowboys also had stupid mistakes. Hell the fumble just before half, that's a 7 point gift right there, and there were a lot of penalties too that helped stall their drives. Try watching the game WITH an OBJECTIVE view."
Person #2 posted a reference to a dictionary.

Person #1 says:
"I didn't catch enough of the Bears/Cowboys game to give an honest analysis of the results. I was just going by stat sheets and drive charts.
I am neither a fan of Dallas, Detroit, or Chicago.

Why highlight the 5th entry of "Objective" in the dictionary?
My use of the word is perfectly defined by the first."

Person #2 says:
"without an objective view" means he'd be watching it with a bias towards one team or another..... Your Jedi viriiuseses mind tricks won't work on me young padawan!!"

Person #1 says:
"Objective - key word being "object". In this case, the Bears.
If he watched the game "without" an objective (Bears) view, he wouldn't be saying the Bears dominated.

My use of the word is perfect."

Who is correct?
