Proper use of the word "nor"

It is proper to start a sentence with the word "nor" or should "nor" instead always be within a sentence?

Top answer

It should usually be a conjunction within a sentence. Good writers can occasionally use it to good effect to start a sentence-- but this must be only rarely done.
