Proper use of apostrophe..Is it area's or areas? Or are both correct?
Me and someone else from another forum are having a debate on the correct usage of the apostrophe, in the instance shown on the title, though it is more a clash of thoughts than all-out warfare at this point
Which is correct? the first one or the second? Or could both be considered correct depending on where you come from?
Top answer
Both are correct depending on the meaning. Areas - plural of area. For example: There are many areas that grow apples.
