Proper titles
If I want to use two titles and both first names when addressing envelopes in the most officially correct way possible, which is correct:
Dr. and Mrs. John and Mary Smith
or
Dr. John and Mrs. Mary Smith
Dr. and Mrs. John and Mary Smith
or
Dr. John and Mrs. Mary Smith

- Smith I'd also consider saying simply Mr and Mrs Smith .
- People who have a doctorate are not going to have a heart attack if you don't always use their title, particularly if it is a social matter.
