I found this compose of words here below, what do you think to it, is this correct anyway?

Can at first then indicate another past situation?- Yes, of course. 'Napoleon ruled for many years, and then he died.'

thanks, but my sentence which i posted doesnt live at all ? There are no any possibilities of mine? How about put instead of 'then' later : She got home, later had watched a video after the children went to bed.''?
