Proper punctuation

what is the proper punctuation when writing dates?

For example...JUNE TWENTY FOURTH, TWO THOUSAND AND NINE? it's a birth announcement and it's in all lower case

Also, what about weight? TWENTY TWO INCHES

HEre's the whole thing...please help.
