I was had a "debate" with someone today. The phrase "come and see" came up while reading through a study. Many people from the South, when inviting someone to come over to see something say, "Come, see." She argued that is incorrect. I argued it is acceptable. So far, only Microsoft Word's grammar check has backed me up, but I'd like more info. Can anyone help? Thanks, dj
