Proper noun

Hi,

We say 'he was near the railroad terminal' or 'he was at the rotary'. But if it has a name, let's say: X railroad terminal and Y rotary. Then can we avoid the article and just say: He was near X railroad terminal, he was at Y rotary?

Regards,
