It was bad weather to celebrate Thanksgiving. The weather prevented John from going to see the annual parade. The TV said the parade was still on as long as the wind did not go over twenty-three miles per hour. John had not missed this parade for years. Last year he saw the big turkey, M&M, and many more big balloons. The parade had not yet started while John had hoped the rain would stop. So he could enjoy the views. Every year the parade route is crowded in the heart of the city. Last year there were a few accidents during the parade but the mayor had more police in the parade this year. I remembered last year parade with razzle-dazzle as I stood on the side-walk. I saw so many balloons that I could not remember them all.

Although John did not go to the parade, he saw it on TV with his older sister Jane. Jane just came back home from school. Their parents were so excited that she came back to celebrate the .
