Since I started to study at aSSIST, I've learned two important things; the Importance of ability to catch up ongoing trends and changes, and Leadership with sound communication skills. Though technical skills are also necessary, those two things are the most important factors to get closer to success in this society. And I believe that I can improve my abilities on the two things while I study at EDHEC for two reasons.

It is generally said that France is the country of culture, however, the saying just stresses one part of the country. France is the nation of science and knowledge as well as culture. That's why it has Sophia Antipolis, one of the most leading knowledge-based cities in Europe with Helsinki and Cambridge. France has sought for a new city concept in which science, knowledge, and culture exist in harmony with each other and now it has become a country that creates added value on the basis of the cities in the rapidly changing world. Nice where EDHEC is located in is also the city reflecting change. And it can give me a good chance to experience the change and then I can get more flexibility in living my individual life and building my career life.

Nice is the city of diversity as well. It contains various kinds people and their unique cultures. Thus, I can improve my communication skills by accepting the diverse cultures and utilize them for development of my leadership.

EDHEC is the best school for me to upgrade myself from that perspective. I plan to study Project mgmt., Macroeconomics, and Marketing of services at the school to broaden my horizon in the field of advanced technical skills, vision making, and leadership. Therefore, I'm quite sure that I can build up my abilities for those areas for three months at EDHEC.
