Hi, teachers, please help me correct my article if there are any mistakes. Thank you.

It is a common phenomenon in China that children receive almost no encouragement from their parents regarding their performance at school, while others receive too much pressure from their over enthusiastic parents students.

The reasons behind such phenomenon are pretty apparent. Firstly, there is a kind of unspoken vague agreement that only using iron fists and relentless discipline, can Chinese parents crank out top students with totalitarian precision. Therefore, no matter what achievements their children make in study, they will just take it for granted and never acknowledge their children’s hard work or accomplishments. For example, one of my friends often complains that he will be punished by his super strict mom when he gets scores under 95, however he will neither get any praise for an A in the examination. Moreover, most Chinese parents are obsessed with making comparisons. Here comes the world's most powerful NPC - someone else's kids. They can play several musical instruments, nail A Levels, attend the medical or law school. Nobody has met these mysterious figures as they exist only in Chinese parents' imaginations. So it is no wonder that thousands of tutorial classes nationwide have sprung up during these 10 years because parents want their children take advantageous over the ‘someone else’s kids’ in the hypercompetitive world.

From my point of view, parents play an evitable role in the process of their children’s development. I think they should not put pressure on their children to study but encourage them to be relaxed. Some researches have found that as long as students are relaxed and get motivated, they are more likely to achieve academic success. Besides, it can also help to enhance relationship between parents and children.

In conclusion, parents are supposed to encourage their children even when they get a small achievement because recognition can enhance the child's self-esteem, self-confidence and the courage to face the world which contributes to better performance in study.
