We have recently conducted a survey concerning the performance of our London branch.
With regards to the overall result of the survey, there are some measures we should take to improve the performance of our London branch store and keep it open.
Firstly, the running cost is beyond our estimated budget. Therefore, we have to reevaluate the expenses like advertising, equipment and office space. For example, we may be able to extend our lease with lower monthly rent by negotiating with our landlord.
Secondly, most staff of our London branch complained that they were dissatisfied with the working hours and salaries. Regarding that, I think we should introduce flexible working scheme and provide attractive incentives package to boost morale and motivation among our employees.
Moreover, in order to promote the falling sales, we can launch an advertisement campaign and recruit some temporary workers to deliver brochures and leaflets to attract more potential customers.
Last but not least, we also found that there was a problem related to the poor store image.
I think we should consult specialized designers to ensure that our store is good looking and trendy.
All effective measures should be carried out as soon as possible; otherwise we may have to close this loss-making branch store.
