Hi teachers, please help me correct any mistakes you find in my letter. Thank You!

Dear Mr. James Smith,

In response to your letter dated 12 February 2016 concerning the broken-down cassette player you, we are very sorry to inform you that we can not repair your set. I outline four main reasons as follows:

Firstly, the technician who is in charge of your set was off sick for nearly two months, so your cassette play had been with us for so long.

Besides, there is something wrong with your kinescope which needs to be replaced. However, the needed replacement is unavailable in my plant for the moment.

Furthermore, after careful inspection, we also found that the volume control needs substituting. But it is too expensive, and I think it may not worth that money; you can definitely buy a new cassette player with the same amount of money.

Finally, your set was produced in 1970 that is more than four decades ago, and the manufacturer went bankrupt in 1975.
As matter of that, we couldn’t purchase the suitable components for your set.

We feel terribly sorry for keeping your cassette player for so long, and we apologize for any inconvenience we caused to you.

Yours sincerely,

Carol Suzuki

Manager Assistant
