Hi teachers, please help me correct any mistakes you find in my paragraphs.
1. This article is to present my university that I am studying at, the name of which is Quy Nhon university. My university located in the centre of the city is very big and has a large yard .It is surrounded highlands and opposite to a beautiful beach. The university was founded in 1977 and has operated for 35 years with having well-trained 835 staffs. Furthermore, 600 of these are lecturers and the others are researchers ( oversea are 50). There are approximately 18000 students in the university and the half of these are from Laos. It trained in the fields of natural science, engineering science, social science and humanities, technology. There are a library in the university which has many reference books and available materials for students and teachers. It also have a computer room which is equipped with a lot of modern computers and experiment laboratory for students to practice their theories. My teachers is so great because they will teach new interesting things during the lecture that I have never known before and I go to class every day because I don’t want to limit my knowledge that is useful to me.
2. There are many problems when I learn english at my university. When I studied english at my secondary and high school, our teacher just focused on grammar and writing skills, so our speaking and listening skills was not good. Therefore, i find it difficult to pronounce english words clearly and I can not say a full sentence in english accurately. Furthermore I also get trouble when I try to express my ideas to foreigner in conventional situation . It is very hard for me to remember new vocabularies because i don’t usually apply it in my real life. Additionally, there are a large number of sentences structure that I have to learn and use these in my exercises, so sometimes I confuse between these grammar and I don’t know how to use correctly. When I have to write my essay, it is very difficult for me to write a topic sentence or introduce. Although I have a lot of ideas, I can not arrange my ideas logical order. In conclusion, that’s all challenges I have to face in learning english and i will find a suitable solutions to overcome these.
3. There are many reasons for me to learn English. First of all, English is used popularly and widely in lots of countries in the world. Therefore, it is very easy for me to communicate with foreigner so I can save my money from not hiding translater when i travel around the world. Additionally, I can watch my favourite english movies and listen to english song without Vietnam subtitles. Secondly, if I have an excellent international certificate, I can study in another country with qualified education and good facilities. Thirdly, the companies of the developed countries have investments in Vietnam and they need good office employees to do international business so that I can be easy to be taken on by these companies with an international certificate. Furthermore, working in a good company ensures my settled job and high salary in the future.
4. I graduated from QH high school 3 years ago .I am a third year student with my major of chemistry technology at QN university . I have classes in every morning and afternoon because i study according to the credit system . When i have free time, i help my mother do household chores, learn english through watch my favorite English movies and listen to English song .In this semester, i have to enrol approximately 12 subjects. Because becoming a petrochemical engineer is a huge goal of my life, i will make an effort to achieve my dream.I chose this major because it will help me get a good job with high salary in the future . Furthermore , the most important things that I love chemistry and feel very excited every time I learned something new from this major .At the present, i am trying to study English everyday to support for my future career. I join in English clubs of my university on the weekend days. Participating in English activities help me not only improve my English skills but also make a lot of new friends.
5. I possess a strong belief that you and me will be best friend forever no matter how far you study away from me. I will never forget every night we went out together and keep all good and sweet memories deep inside my heart, and I hope you will be strong, happy and successful in your life as well as your studying. I want to wish all the best things for you. Love you, my friend .
