Report on staff recruitment

Introduction

The purpose of this report is to explain why our department needs to recruit more staff.

Findings

The latest statistics compare the number of staff in our department and the average number of units ordered; and point out the main reason for more staff. While the number of ordered units grow up from only 20,000 to 40,000 within 2 years, but the number of staff grew only 5 people.

Our Sales Department has just received a big new order from an international company. Nevertheless, the increase of annual holidays to 5 weeks per year means that there will not be enough staff for all the work.
As you are aware, a recent letter from our client complained that the order they required was six weeks late in arriving. Thus, another reason for more staff is that we will have fewer delays and can delivery goods timely.

Conclusions

There are many reasons which explain the importance of more staff. It is especially important for reducing the number of delay in delivery and to optimize the workload.
