Essay & Composition Writing

Proofreading?

hi, teachers, please help me correct my letter if there are any mistakes, thank you!
Dear Mrs. Freeman,
With regards to the recent experience of ten of my staff with your training company, I have decided to send you some feedback based on their comments.

On the April 1st, they attended a three-day Sales IT course in creating PPT presentations. However, on the first day the trainer arrived one hour late, which was followed by a further delay because of computer system breakdown.

As a result of this nearly 100 minute was missed. Moreover, my staff informed me that the approach of the trainer was to let participants discover solution to problems in stead of being told what to do.

Despite having been very satisfied with your services in the past three yeas, I have to reconsider sending my staff in the future. I would appreciate it if I could hear any comments you have to make wither by phone or in writing.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, nekosama. The trainer's approach is a modern, productive one, and so your complaint is hardly valid. Today, staff should not simply be 'told what to do'; they should use their minds to solve problems.

  • It is in fact the way I conduct my own Business English classes.
  • I have left your sentence in your letter, although I myself would certainly delete it!
