Proofreading

Hi guys, could somebody help me proofread my essay about Translation?
Translation is the process of transferring a given text form on language to another. To achieve this process successfully, one should know some basic terms; otherwise, one may face some issues and not have a coherent translation. For example, realizing the meaning of the ST (source text), TT,(target text) strategy and strategic decision could make formulating the TT and understanding the ST easier and help the translator avoid some issues. Translation has three different types which includes inter-semiotic, iterlingual and intralingual translation.
One of the most common types of translation is intralingual translation. This type means the translation within one language and it is achieved by using the synonyms to convey the message or using other signs to convey the meaning within one language. For example, if you and your friend decided to visit another close friend and when you called him, he replied that he has a lot of stuff to do. You can conclude from his reply that he is busy and can't welcome you and your friend. To inform your friend of his reply, you can tell him "we should change our destination for tonight". The way you conveyed your friend's reply to the other one is an apparent example of intralingual translation. Here, you could have interpreted and added some details on your friend's message as what is called exegetic translation.
Another common type of translation is interlingual translation which means translation between two different languages like translating from Arabic to English. This type of translation can also encompass elements of gist translation or exegesis. An example on this type of this translation is translating "Yemeni burns his daughter to death over calling her fiance" to "???? ???? ???? ???? ??????? ???????". In this example, there is no exegetical elements because we only replaced each English word by what matches it in Arabic. For example, we replaced "burned to death" by "???? ????". The advantage of interlingual translation is that it requires few components to learn translating from one language to another. It also allows translators to deal with two different languages and learn them.
In conclusion, in order to understand the meaning of translation, there are some Important terms to understand like ST,TT and gist translation. Also, one should have the ability to differentiate between two types of translation like inter-semiotic translation which means translating given signs to another system of signs. In addition to inter-semiotic translation, there are some important types like intralingual and interlingual translation. To differentiate between them, you need to know that the first requires the ability to rephrase within the same language while the other requires the acknowledgment of other language's vocabulary.
