Hi, Teachers, Could you please help me correct my article if there are any mistakes, Thanks!
It is sometimes difficult to discuss people’s opinions in regard to the gap year because it is such a multifaceted topic. Some people maintain that taking a year off to work or travel before attending university is of great benefit to students. However, others claim that a gap year is so dangerous for immature students.
From my own perspectives, I have also developed my point of view. There are three basic reasons to agree with taking a gap year.

The first reason has to do with experience. In today’s competitive society, I think it is beneficial for students to accumulate some working experience because it can not only strengthen students’ sense of achievement but also deepen their insights into occupation selection. Furthermore, the ever increasing tuition fees are another important factors lead to taking a gap year. A gap year can offer poverty-stricken students an opportunity to earn extra money to contribute towards their high fees, and reduce some financial burden on their parents.

The second reason for my position is related to personal development. Taking a gap year is helpful in tempering one’s sense of independence. Being far away from home, they have to make decisions, and cope with the problems they are faced with on their own during a gap year.
Besides, a gap year is a great way to enlarge one’s circle of friends. They can meet a variety of people from different cultures and countries, which helps them to broaden their horizons and improves their social skills.

Last, but not the least, the last reason is that taking a gap year before starting university life seems to be significant to students’ psychological health. It is no an exaggeration to say that nearly every university student most or less suffers from psychological illness because of fierce academic competition.
A gap year can brighten students’ spirit as well as adding spice to their life. Personally speaking, I think traveling to other places before attending to university can prevent students from getting too stressed at the further their studies.

Of course, I don’t mean to suggest that my opinion is completely unassailable. There may be some people who disagree with my point of view on this issue. They may assert that some students are so immature and inexperienced that they may go astray, or even end up never returning to campus life.

Despite there is the fact that having a gap year is disadvantageous to some extent; nevertheless, for the reasons I have outlined above, I believe that the advantages of gap year are quantitatively greater than its disadvantages.
